Mariupol: 21 more children confirmed dead, taking total to 313

There have been at least 892 child casualties in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation: 313 children have been killed and 579 wounded.

Details: On 14 June, in the city of Zolochiv, Lviv Oblast, a baby was injured by the wreckage of a Russian missile.

On 13 June, as a result of shelling the villages of Piatnytske and Malynivka, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv Oblast, with a Grad multiple rocket launch system, three children aged 3 months, 11 and 17 years were wounded.

The deaths of 25 more children aged 4 to 17 years as a result of the shelling and bombardment of Donetsk Oblast from March to May become known as criminal offences were recorded. Of these, 21 died in Mariupol.

In particular, the whole family of the head of one of the city council departments (including two girls aged 13 and 15) was killed when the building was directly hit by a Russian missile during the shelling of Mariupol.

Moreover, 48 children aged 4 months to 17 years were injured as a result of shelling by the Russian military in Mariupol, the Ukrainian Prosecutor's Office recorded.

In May, the occupiers shelled the city of Lyman, Kramatorsk district, Donetsk Oblast. As a result, 4 girls died.

According to available data, most children were affected in Donetsk Oblast- 291,followed by  Kharkiv Oblast - 169, Kyiv Oblast  - 116, Chernihiv Oblast - 68, Luhansk Oblast - 54, Kherson Oblast - 52, Mykolaiv Oblast - 48, Zaporizhzhia Oblast - 30 and Sumy Oblast - 17.

These numbers are not final, as work is underway to determine the figures in places of active hostilities and in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

Reminder: In occupied Mariupol, the wreckage of ruined buildings is being dismantled. On 11 June, information on the deaths of 24 more children as a result of indiscriminate shelling by the Russian military emerged. And on 13 June, it became known that an 8-year-old boy had been injured in the shelling on 20 March.
