In Kyiv, beaches are being checked for underwater explosives

The rescue and diving team of the Pleso Municipal Service is busy checking the riverbed off Kyiv’s beaches for explosives.

Details: As of 8 June, the waters of 2 beaches – Central and Venice – have already been checked. Divers have not found explosives, but removed various large objects and branches from the bottom.
The search will last approximately two weeks.
The Kyiv City State Administration recommends not to visit beaches and recreation areas during martial law, for the safety of citizens.
