Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian assault on Krasnopillia and Mariinka – General Staff report

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled a Russian assault towards Krasnopillia (on the Sloviansk front) and Mariinka.

Details: On the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, Russian occupying forces fired on the areas around towns and villages of Avdiivka, Karlivka, Mariinka, Sribne, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Vremivka, Bilohiria, Poltavka, Huliaipole, Huliaipilske, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv and Kamianske. Russian aircraft conducted a missile strike near Orikhiv as well as airstrikes in the areas around Volodymyrivka, Pavlivka and Novoandriivka.

On the Sloviansk front, the Russians used tubed and rocket artillery to fire on the outskirts of Dibrivne, Mazanivka, Bohorodychne, Adamivka and Kurulka, and conducted an airstrike near Bohorodychne.

There were no significant changes on the Volyn, Polissia and Sivershchyna fronts. Russian forces fired on the area of Karpovychi in Chernihiv Oblast using tubed artillery.

Units of Russian troops on the Slobozhanshchyna front continue to focus their efforts on maintaining their positions on the Kharkiv front and on preventing the advance of Ukrainian forces. Russia is supplying its units with equipment and other material goods.

Russian occupying forces fired on the areas around the city of Kharkiv and the towns and villages of Bazalivka, Petrivka, Ruski Tyshky, Slatyne, Prudianka, Rubizhne and Blahodatne using artillery, multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) and tanks.

On the Donetsk front, there is evidence that Russian troops are preparing to resume the offensive on the Kramatorsk and Bakhmut fronts.

Russian forces are conducting assault operations on the Novopavlivka front in order to improve their tactical positions and are systematically firing on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces along the entire frontline. Russia has also ramped up their use of aircraft.

Russian forces did not undertake active combat operations on the Kramatorsk front, but used tubed artillery to fire on the areas around Siversk, Zakitne, Serebrianka, Hryhorivka, Bilohorivka, Verkhnokamianske and Spirne.

On the Bakhmut front, Russian occupying forces used mortars as well as tubed and rocket artillery to fire on the areas near Berestove, Pokrovske, Soledar, Zaitseve, Vershyna, Novoluhanske, Klishchiivka and New-York. Russian aircraft conducted missile strikes in the vicinity of Berestove, Spire, Striapivka and the Vuhlehirska Power Plant.

Russia’s efforts on the Pivdennyi Buh front are focused on preventing the advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Russian forces used tubed artillery to fire on the areas around Osokorivka, Dobrianka, Olhyne, Velyka Kostromka, Bila Krynytsia, Kalynivka, Kyselivka, Liubomyrivka, Kobzartsi, Chervona Dolyna, Shyroke, Kyselivka, Partyzanske, Kotliareve, Posad-Pokrovske and Prybuzke.

Russian ships in the waters of the Black and Azov seas continue to focus their efforts on using cruise missiles to attack important civilian and military infrastructure facilities and on pinning down the Ukrainian Navy and the State Border Service of Ukraine.

In addition, two naval missile carriers (equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles) are on standby in the waters of the Black and Azov seas.
