Quote: "In temporarily occupied Mariupol, the number of thefts of remaining private vehicles is rapidly increasing. Thefts occur both from open areas or parking lots, and from closed garages.

At the same time, the cost of the car does not matter: executive class cars and cheap models such as ZAZ or GEELY disappear."

Details: It is noted that cars disappear day and night – during curfew.

Thieves often use tow trucks. Representatives of the occupation administration and local collaborators associated with it are engaged in the looting.

Officially, a report of theft can be submitted to the "Military Commandant's Office" of Mariupol, but at the unofficial level, its representatives say that residents must look for their cars themselves.

Often, owners of stolen cars find them in the possession of militants of the so-called "DPR police." In this case, the stolen cars are declared "property of the DPR."
