Ukrainian troops mine danger areas on the border with Belarus

The commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhii Naiev, visited the positions of Ukrainian soldiers on the border with Belarus and reported that the defenders were mining dangerous areas.

Details: Naiev reported that measures are currently being taken to mine dangerous areas on the border with Belarus and to install engineered barriers.
Subdivisions of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine carry out measures to strengthen the state border of Ukraine in all areas which present a threat.
Naiev said that he talked with the servicemen at the positions, got acquainted with the conditions of their service, assessed the level of defence and discussed tactical defence plans.
Currently, according to him, the situation is fully controlled by the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and other military formations and law enforcement agencies.
