The Armed Forces of Ukraine inflict losses on the occupiers on Kharkiv and Kherson oblasts – the General Staff report

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed the Russian offensive and inflicted losses on Russian soldiers in the area of Pytomnyk on the Kharkiv front; the occupiers retreated with losses near Lozove and Shyroke in the Kherson region.

Details: On the Kharkiv front, the Russian occupying forces fired on civilian infrastructure around the settlements of Kharkiv, Udy, Prudianka, Ruska Lozova, Cherkaski and Ruski Tyshky, Petrivka, Staryi Saltiv, Ivanivka, Husarivka, Lebiazhe and Korobochkyne. They also carried out airstrikes near Staryi Saltiv, Husarivka and Mospanovе and continue to conduct high-intensity UAV reconnaissance.
"The enemy tried to improve its tactical position in the area of Pytomnyk. Our soldiers met the occupiers with dignity, inflicted losses and forced them to flee," the message reads.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, the Russian forces fired at civilian infrastructure near Stepova Dolyna, Parutyne, Prybuzke and other settlements. Their air force operated near Andriivka, Osokorivka, Bila Krynytsia and Lozove.
The occupiers unsuccessfully tried to advance in the areas of Lozove and Shiroke settlements. They retreated with losses.
On the Sloviansk front, the Russian forces fired from tanks, tubed artillery and MLRS near Virnopillia, Bohorodychne, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Dovhenke, Krasnopillia, Dolyna and Dibrivne. An airstrike was carried out in the area of the settlement of Zalyman. Near Nova Dmytrivka and Dolyna, Russian soldiers tried to break through the defences of the Ukrainian troops, but they were unsuccessful and retreated.
On the Kramatorsk front, the Russian forces used tubed and rocket artillery to shell the neighbourhoods of Kramatorsk, Verkhnokamianske, Siversk, Hryhorivka and Kryva Luka.
They tried to improve their tactical position near Ivano-Darivka and Vyimka. Russian soldiers were forcefully repulsed and retreated.
On the Bakhmut front, shelling of military and civilian infrastructure near Chasiv Yar, Bakhmut and seven other settlements was recorded. The enemy carried out airstrikes near Yakovlivka, Spirne, Vesela Dolyna, Kodema, Soledara, Bakhmut, Zaitseve and Bakhmutske.
The Russian forces tried to mount offensivs and assaults in order to advance near Yakovlivka, Bakhmut, Vershyna and Zaitseve, but were unsuccessful. Fighting is still going on in some areas.
On the Avdiivka front, the Russian forces attacked the areas of Kurakhove, New-York, Marinka, Krasnohorivka and Oleksandropil with tanks and rocket artillery. They conducted an airstrike near Marinka.
The occupiers are trying to break through the Ukrainian troops’ defences in the areas of Oleksandropol, Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka, Marinka and Pisky. Fierce fighting continues.
On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, the invaders are inflicting fire damage near Volodymyrivka, Pavlivka, and Vuhledar and a number of other settlements. They carried out airstrikes in several neighbourhoods of Velyka Novosilka, Pavlivka, Volodymyrivka and Chervone.
The invaders' attempts to improve their tactical position in the areas of Pavlivka and Novosilky failed.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, units of the armed forces of Belarus are engaged in strengthening the protection of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border in the Brest and Gomel oblasts [Belarus].
On the Sivershchyna front, the Russian forces fired shells of various calibres on the areas of Senkivka, Hremiach and Pushkari in the Chernihiv region and Basivka and Kindrativka of Sumy Oblast. They conducted aerial reconnaissance of border areas with unmanned aerial vehicles.
