Dmytro Kuleba noted that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and UN Secretary-General António Guterres sincerely sympathise and truly want to help Ukraine find a solution.

"No one has urged us to make concessions in favour of Russia. I want to say straight up that this hasn’t happened just in case ‘treason’ accusations of sorts pop up on social networks," Dmytro Kuleba said.

He specified that Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Recep Erdoğan talked much longer than expected at the bilateral meeting.

"Presidents and Secretary-General coordinated not only their positions, but their actions on key issues, including the grain corridor, Zaporizhzhia NPP and the release of our prisoners. That is, they haven’t merely talked about, but they have agreed on what each of them is doing next... I suspect that the diplomatic resolution of many problems will depend on the coordination and decisions of this trio right until the war ends. They have reached an understanding, that's the main thing," Dmytro Kuleba added.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasised the need to reach a diplomatic settlement between Ukraine and Russia. He thinks that the parties should return back to negotiations based on the March agreements in Istanbul for this purpose.

He added that Volodymyr Zelenskyy also agreed that sooner or later the war would end at the negotiating table.

However, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he does not currently see a "window for diplomacy" to negotiate with Russia, which the Turkish President discussed at the meeting.
