Zelenskyy talks with Trudeau about ways of ruining Russia's "terrorist plans"

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed defence assistance, the situation on the battlefield and restoring the critical infrastructure ahead of the winter season with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Quote: "I talked with Justin Trudeau. We discussed the situation at the front, the importance of greater security support for Ukraine, the post-war recovery plan, the partners' aid, the situation at ZNPP [Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant]. We must stop Russia's nuclear terrorism. I thanked Canada for crucial help in the energy sector."

Details: In his nightly video address, Zelensky said that he had discussed with Trudeau "various security issues, including Russian missile strikes, defence assistance, training of our military, prospects for the developments on the battlefield, restoration of critical infrastructure before the winter period."

The President thanked the Prime Minister of Canada for the support already provided to Ukraine, in particular for the financial support to purchase gas, "and for understanding the steps we need to take to ruin Russia's terrorist plans."
