Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy Russian ammunition storage point and pontoon crossing – Operational Command Pivden (South)

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed a Russian ammunition storage point near Tomyna Balka and a pontoon crossing [over the River Dnipro] near the village of Lvove.

Details: Ukrainian aircraft carried out 21 airstrikes on the positions of Russian troops, as well as their command posts, strong points, areas where Russian military personnel and equipment were concentrated and transport and logistics targets, preventing the Russians from making any meaningful gains or solving their supply system issues.

Rocket and artillery units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have continued to undertake numerous firing missions.

The Ukrainian forces are continuing to maintain tight control over crossings over the rivers Dnipro and Inhulets.

Over the course of Sunday, 4 September, Russian forces lost a total of 104 military personnel, six tanks, 26 pieces of armoured and other vehicles, nine Msta-S and Msta-B howitzers and an Eleron-10 unmanned aerial reconnaissance vehicle in southern Ukraine.

In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian ammunition storage point near Tomyna Balka and a pontoon crossing near the village of Lvove; they struck a command post of the 35th Army in the Kakhovka district and two control and observation points belonging to battalion tactical groups of the 247th Airborne Assault Regiment and the 126th Separate Coastal Defence Brigade in the Mykolaiv and Beryslav districts.
