Russia’s losses in Ukraine exceed 50,000 military personnel. Over the course of Monday, 5 September, the Ukrainian Armed Forces killed approximately 350 Russian soldiers.

Details: Russia suffered its heaviest losses on 5 September on the Donetsk front.

Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February and 6 September 2022 are estimated to be [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses - ed.]:

  • 2,077 (+9) tanks;
  • 4,484 (+25) armoured combat vehicles;
  • 1,179 (+22) artillery systems;
  • 296 (+2) multiple-launch rocket systems;
  • 156 (+0) air defence systems;
  • 236 (+0) aircraft;
  • 207 (+1) helicopters;
  • 876 (+9) operational-tactical UAVs;
  • 209 (+4) cruise missiles;
  • 15 (+0) ships/boats;
  • 3,305 (+19) vehicles and fuel tankers;
  • 109 (+2) other vehicles and equipment.
