Ukraine’s Security Service puts Dmitry Medvedev and others on wanted list

Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council and former president of the aggressor country, is wanted by the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).

Details: Ukraine has indicted Medvedev under Art. 110.2 of the Criminal Code (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine committed by a member of the public authorities).

 

This article stipulates a penalty of five to ten years’ imprisonment, with or without confiscation of assets.

The wanted list states that Medvedev disappeared on 1 March.

The SSU has put Maria Zakharova, the spokeswoman to the Russian Foreign Ministry, on the wanted list as well.

She is accused of violating Art. 110.3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine which caused death or other serious consequences). Zakharova faces ten to fifteen years’ life imprisonment, with or without confiscation of assets.

The wanted list states that Zakharova disappeared on 14 March.

 

Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Defence, has been put on the wanted list for violating the same article. He disappeared on 11 March.
