As Kuleba wrote on his Twitter, he told the Israeli Prime Minister about "unspeakable suffering, loss of life, and destruction caused by Russian missiles and Iranian-made drones."

Quote by Kuleba: "We discussed in detail Ukraine’s request for Israel to provide air and missile defence systems and technology," Ukraine’s Foreign Minister added.

In his turn, Lapid has pointed out that he shared "deep concern about the military ties between Iran and Russia" with Kuleba. "Israel stands with Ukrainian people," he added.

Amid Russia’s active use of UAVs from Iran, who is the strategic opponent of Israel in the Middle East, and the message of possible purchase of Iranian rockets by Moscow, Ukraine has stated that it would ask Israel for an immediate supply of air defence systems.

Earlier, Benny Hanz, the Minister of Defence of Israel, announced that his country would not provide Ukraine with weapons to counteract the Russian invasion; however, he said, they could send Ukraine systems of early warning about rocket or drone attacks.
