Minister of Defence of Ukraine announces new package of US military assistance

Defence Secretary Oleksii Resnikov spoke with United States Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin on Monday about the next American package of security assistance.

Quote: "I welcome the clear position of the United States on non-response to provocations and zero tolerance for blackmail. We also discussed the next American package of security assistance to Ukraine. Details will be announced later," Reznikov wrote on Twitter.
Details: The Pentagon has not yet published details of the phone conversation.
The United States announced on 14 October the latest package of military assistance at $725 million.
Total United States military assistance to Ukraine has reached more than $18.3 billion during the Biden administration.
The conversation between the heads of the Defence Departments of Ukraine and the United States took place amid unconfirmed accusations against Kyiv by Moscow that Kyiv is preparing a provocation by using a so-called dirty bomb on its own territory.
