Quote: "On the night of 5-6 October, the enemy once again attacked the south of the country with Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. Nine kamikaze drones were destroyed by Air Defence Forces of the Air Command Pivden (South). Seven of them were hit in Mykolaiv Oblast."

Details: Earlier on 5 October, Kim showed pieces of a kamikaze drone and stated that "this is the first result [achieved] not by the Air Defence Forces, but mobile scooter hunters." [Kim refers to Ukrainian troops that shoot down Shahed drones, which make a lot of noise before attacking]

On Wednesday, Russians launched kamikaze drones from Ukraine’s south: the defenders managed to shoot down six Shahed-136 in Mykolaiv district, while another six UAVs hit facilities in Bila Tserkva in Kyiv Oblast.

Besides, Kim has reported, citing Air Command Pivden (South), that the Air Defence Forces took down an operational-tactical UAV, probably Orlan-10, on 5 October, approximately at 11:30 over the sea near the city of Ochakiv, while it was trying to conduct an air reconnaissance mission.

On Wednesday, from 09:45 to 13:30, the settlement of Pervomaisk hromada [an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.] was struck. As a result, residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged; an infrastructure facility was hit, too. There were no casualties reported.

At 22:21, the outskirts of a settlement in Bereznehuvate hromada came under attack, as well.

At 04:57 on the morning of 6 October, Russian forces attacked another settlement in the same hromada.

There are no casualties reported. The information regarding damage is being ascertained.

On 5 October, at 07:30 and 09:30, the occupiers struck Shyroke hromada [in Zaporizhzhia Oblast – ed.]; they hit the open territories and farmland. There were no injured people; no damage was reported.
