Ukrainian Armed Forces strike Russian strong points, air defence equipment and other crucial targets – General Staff report

Over the course of the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have struck Russian strong points, air defence systems and clusters of military personnel and equipment from land and air.

Quote: "Over the course of the past 24 hours, Russian forces have carried out 60 missile strikes and 15 airstrikes, as well as over 45 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems [MLRS].

More than 50 Ukrainian cities, towns and villages came under Russian fire, including Soledar, Vuhledar, Yakovlivka and Vesele in Donetsk Oblast."

Details: Over the course of the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aircraft carried out 14 airstrikes on Russian forces, striking several clusters of weapons and equipment, strong points and anti-aircraft defence systems.

In addition, Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners struck down four Russian helicopters, two UAVs and 45 cruise missiles.

Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery struck two Russian command posts, three clusters of military personnel, weapons and equipment and several other crucial targets.

There were no significant changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts. The Republic of Belarus is continuing to support and aid Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine and its people. 

Russia is continuing to deploy units of its forces to Belarus. There is an ongoing threat of missile strikes from the territory of Belarus, including with the use of attack UAVs.

On other fronts, the Russians continued to fire on military and civilian targets:

  • On the Slobozhanshchyna front: Russian forces deployed tank guns, mortars and tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in and around Vilkhuvatka, Vovchansk, Hatyshche, Strilecha and Veterynarne;
  • On the Kupiansk front: Russian forces deployed mortars and tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in and around Kucherivka, Stelmakhivka, Miasozharivka and Petropavlivka;
  • On the Lyman front: the Russians deployed various types of artillery to fire on areas in the vicinity of Nevske, Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Spirne, Hryhorivka and Berestove;
  • On the Bakhmut front: the Russians deployed tanks, mortars and tubed and rocket  artillery to fire on areas in and around Zelenopillia, Klishchiivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske and Soledar;
  • On the Avdiivka front: the Russians deployed tank guns and artillery of various calibres to fire on areas in the vicinity of Marinka, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Pervomaiske and Nevelske;
  • On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts: the Russians deployed tank guns, mortars and tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in and around Vremivka, Vuhledar, Poltavka, Olhivske, Malynivka, Pavlivka and Novodanylivka;
  • On the Pivdennyi Buh front, more than 20 cities, towns and villages situated along the line of contact came under Russian fire.
