Occupiers ban crossing of Dnipro River for residents of Kherson Oblast

The occupation administration of Kherson Oblast has temporarily banned the movement of civilian vehicles across the Dnipro River.

Details: The occupiers linked the ban to the completion of the evacuation from the right bank of the Dnipro River, as well as to "increased military danger and threats to the civilian population".

The temporary ban applies to river taxis, barges, and other water vessels. The pontoon crossing also stops its work.

The ban does not apply to vehicles used by utility services and companies engaged in the transportation of food and medicine.

The order states that the movement of civilian vehicles from the right to the left bank of the Dnipro River will be carried out only through the river port in Kherson. It is possible to go to the left bank of the Dnipro by water transport, as well as to cross by private car using a barge.

The occupiers promised that the temporary suspension of transport communication would not affect the provisioning of the right bank of Kherson Oblast with food and essential goods.

Note: On 2 November, explosions occurred in temporarily occupied Kherson. Russian propagandists said that allegedly Ukrainian troops fired 18 missiles at Kherson, six HIMARS missiles fell in the area of the Antonivka Bridge.
