We need greater support for war to be shorter – Zelenskyy

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has reminded the international partners that the duration of the war depends on the amount of support directed at Ukraine.

The most important thing is for the United States and the international community not to waver in their support for Ukraine, to understand what we are fighting for…

The United States is a leader in the support that is being provided. Without them, it will be hard for us, very hard.

The question of when the war would be over depends entirely on that support. For it [the war – ed.] to be shorter, we need greater help." 

Previously: Zelenskyy said he believed that the war in Ukraine would be over when Russian leader Vladimir Putin dies.

Zelenskyy also believes that the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will not use nuclear weapons because he fears death.
