Mykolaiv resident brings home Russian mines: one person killed, one injured

A local resident who brought home two Russian anti-personnel mines has been killed in Mykolaiv Oblast.

Quote: "Today, a man found two anti-personnel mines left by the Russian military in one of the villages of the Snigurivka district.

A 26-year-old local resident brought the find home and started showing it to his friend; the mines exploded, and the man died on the spot from injuries.

A 33-year-old friend who was nearby sustained numerous injuries; now doctors are battling for his life."

Details: Shaikhet called on the residents of the liberated territories not to touch or approach the dangerous finds, because they can explode at any moment. In the event of the detection of explosive objects, specialists should be called at 102 or 101.
