Russians attack three hromadas near border of Sumy Oblast

Russian forces carried out attacks on three hromadas [administrative units designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.] of Sumy Oblast situated along the Ukrainian border on 27 December.

Details: Russians opened fire from small arms on the border areas of Seredyna-Buda hromada.

They deployed mortars to fire on Shalyhyne hromada, there were 10 strikes.

Russians deployed artillery to fire on Esman hromada; three strikes were reported. One of the projectiles destroyed the house of local residents, but people had enough time to hide in the shelter.
