Ukraine's ombudsman reveals Russians returned by Ukraine during prisoners of war exchange on 6 December

Dmytro Lubinets, Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, posted a video that proves Ukraine's humane treatment of Russian prisoners of war (PoWs).

Details: On 6 December, following another PoWs exchange, Russia’s servicemen who had been in Ukrainian captivity were returned to Russia.

The Ombudsman stressed that all of them received proper food and medical care, and were not maltreated.

Quote: "On the photos and videos you can see that the Russians are in adequate physical condition, which indicates that Ukraine guarantees compliance with the Geneva Conventions!

Therefore, I emphasise that Russians should not be afraid and it is better to continue getting into Ukrainian captivity!"

Previously: On 6 December, defenders of the Armed Forces, the National Guard and the State Border Guard Service were returned to Ukraine in the exchange of the prisoners of war in the "60 for 60" format.
