Prigozhin invites "DPR" defence minister to join Wagner Group and use his combat experience
Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner Group PMC, has invited Igor Girkin (Strelkov), the so-called "DPR Defence Minister" to join his troops in Ukraine [DPR is the self-styled "Donetsk People's Republic" – ed.].

Quote from Prigozhin: "As the senior figure of the Wagner PMC, I invite Mr Girkin to the front to check whether his position and usefulness are true, as he stated his combat experience."
Details: Prigozhin says that he decided to accept Girkin into Wagner Group, despite "an extremely negative attitude" towards him.
"I suggest that he [Girkin – ed.] arrives at the territory of the "LPR" for appointment to a senior position, under his competence, in one of the assault units," Prigozhin said.
At the same time, he stated that Girkin would not be offered a high position, because for this to happen, "it is necessary to show your capabilities." "It's time to move from words to deeds," Prigozhin said.

Background:
- On 15 October 2022 Girkinʼs wife, Miroslava Reginskaia published their photo where he wore a military uniform. So she hinted that he went to fight against Ukraine.
- Ukrainian patriots and activists promised US$50,000 for capturing Girkin.
- Ukraine's Defence Intelligence also guaranteed a reward for his captivity, but the amount offered is twice as large – US$100,000.
- Later, Girkin himself said that he couldn't fight against Ukraine and returned to Moscow.
