Russian loses 260 servicemen in Zaporizhzhia

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed that Russian occupiers had been successfully attacked in the vicinity of 5 settlements of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, with the Russians losing up to 260 soldiers killed and wounded.

Quote: "It has been confirmed that an attack on the occupiers in the areas of Tokmak, Melitopol, Berdiansk, Polohy and Vasylivka settlements of Zaporizhzhia Oblast took place on 2 January. Two ammunition storage points, up to 10 units of military equipment of various types were destroyed, 2 Russian deployment points were damaged and up to 260 servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were killed or wounded."

Background: On 3 January, General Staff confirmed that Russians lost about 500 soldiers killed and wounded near the village of Chulanivka, Kherson Oblast.
