Chechen leader begins recruiting militants from occupied Donbas

Ramzan Kadyrov, the Russian-appointed puppet leader of occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, began to recruit militants from the so-called "Army of the DPR" [Donetsk People's Republic] to his troops. The goal is to increase his own power.

It is noted that Kadyrov's influence on the occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast is growing, and in fact they are under his control.  It is his militants who "ensure order" and carry out repressions in the captured cities.

It is also reported that Kadyrovites [the Chechen forces subject to Kadyrov that fight as part of the Russian army – ed.] are looting the region.

Denis Pushilin, who formally acts as a leader in the occupied areas of Donetsk Oblast, agreed to the "training" of "DPR" militants at the Special Forces university located in the Chechen Republic.

Quote: "This further strengthens Kadyrov's influence in the temporarily occupied territories, because now he will actually train those who will be responsible for the personal security of puppet governors. In addition, Kadyrov's personal guard is replenished with new faces, which also changes the balance of power in the future redistribution of power."

More details: The National Resistance Center noted that Kadyrovites almost do not participate in direct combat operations, which creates nervousness among other military formations of the Kremlin, which suffer losses and get weaker.
