Russian Ka-52 helicopter crashes over Sea of Azov

On Friday, 1 September, a Russian Ka-52 combat helicopter crashed in the Sea of Azov; preliminary data says two pilots were rescued.

Quote: "According to Baza sources in the rescue services, the helicopter fell in the waters of the Sea of Azov, about 1.5 kilometres from the coastline on the morning of 1 September."

Details: The preliminary explanation of the event says the cause of the fall was difficult weather conditions, as there was heavy fog in the area.

Two crew members were on board the Ka-52. They were evacuated during the rescue operation.
