Explosion heard in Mykolaiv, authorities state it occurs outside city
The mass media reported an explosion in the city of Mykolaiv on the afternoon of 7 October.

Details: Prior to that, the Ukrainian Air Force reported the threat of Russia's use of ballistic missiles.
The air-raid warning was issued in Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Odesa oblasts.
The authorities have not yet reported the explosion.
Updated: Kim wrote that "the explosions occurred not in Mykolaiv, and the relevant services have already arrived at the scene".
The head of the oblast did not specify where the explosions took place or provide any other details.
