Russians attack Kharkiv Oblast with at least 10 drones

Russia launched a large-scale attack on Kharkiv and its suburbs on the night of 2-3 November, and at least 10 Russian drones attacked civilian infrastructure.

Details: Early reports indicate that there were no casualties. Doctors diagnosed three local residents with an acute stress reaction.

Garages and cars were on fire as a result of drone strikes. Outbuildings were damaged.

Drones hit an educational institution. The second and third floors, as well as the roof of the building were destroyed, and the building itself caught fire. In addition, a residential building, a service station, and an administrative building caught fire as a result of the attack. Fires were contained.

All specialised services are working at the scenes. Investigators and forensics are documenting the aftermath of the attacks.

Updated: Later, Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, clarified that the Russians had struck Kharkiv with 4 Shahed kamikaze drones around 00:45.

The Russian attack damaged 2 garages, 4 personal vehicles and an outbuilding. An educational institution was partially ruined. The building of a car service station, a non-operational sewing workshop and a residential building were also affected. Fires occurred.

Eight Kharkiv residents with acute stress reactions, including 2 children, sought medical attention. They were treated on the spot. No one suffered any injuries.

The village of Korotych in Kharkiv district was also targeted overnight at around 23:45, resulting in damage to two non-residential buildings and fires.

The Russians fired on Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts over the past 24 hours. The following settlements were hit: Vovchansk, Hatyshche, Ternova, Dvorichna, Synkivka and other populated areas.

Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 10 Russian attacks on the Kupiansk front near the settlements of Synkivka, Petropavlivka and Ivanivka.

Background: On the evening of 2 November, the Russian army launched two groups of attack UAVs, some heading west.
