An air-raid warning was issued across Ukraine on the morning of 7 January due to the take-off of a Russian Kinzhal hypersonic missile carrier.

Details: The Ukrainian military said a Russian MiG-31K had taken off from Mozdok airfield in North Ossetia [a subject of the Russian Federation, situated in the North Caucasus – ed.].
