Poland had to warn residents of Russian drone attack on Ukraine

Residents of Poland's Lublin Voivodeship received a notification on the afternoon of 30 August warning them about a Russian attack on western Ukraine.

Details: The first message was sent at 15:07: "ATTENTION! ATTENTION! ATTENTION! A massive aerial attack is ongoing on the territory of western Ukraine. Follow updates".

However, at 15:13 a new message appeared cancelling the previous alert.

"ATTENTION! ATTENTION! ATTENTION! The massive attack on the territory of western Ukraine has concluded. There is no threat on the territory of the Republic of Poland. Follow updates," the government security centre stated.

On 30 August, Russian forces are continuing their large-scale drone attack on Ukraine. However, the attack is mostly concentrated on the capital region. At the same time, the Air Force reported a Russian drone in Volyn Oblast.
