President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to the fallen F-16 pilot Pavlo Ivanov.

Background:
- On Saturday, 12 April, 26-year-old pilot Pavlo Ivanov was killed while flying an F-16 combat mission.
- Zelenskyy noted that he had heard reports from the military on this combat situation, and all the circumstances of the incident were being investigated.
