Death toll from Russian attack on Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi school rises to 3

The number of people killed in the Russian attack on the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi on 23 June has risen to three. A 60-year-old canteen worker who had worked at the school that the Russians hit has died in hospital.

Details: Reports indicate that eight patients currently remain in hospital, two boys aged around 16 among them. The rest of those injured are continuing to be treated on an outpatient basis after receiving all the necessary initial medical treatment. 

Search and rescue operations continue at the scene of the attack. 

Background: Russian forces struck the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi in Odesa Oblast with ballistic missiles on the afternoon of 23 June. Early reports indicated that two people had been killed and more than ten injured.
