Russia does not need war with Europe, but it is possible – former Russian president

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Russia's Security Council and former Russian president, has said in his typically boorish manner that Moscow does not need a war with Europe, while simultaneously admitting that such a conflict remains possible.

Quote from Medvedev: "In European countries, they talk everywhere about a war with Russia within the next five years. It should not happen. Because it runs counter to the interests of our country."
Details: Medvedev said that Russia "does not need a war with anyone in general", including "frigid old Europe".
Medvedev insisted that Russia had "always come to Europe only as a liberator, not as an invader". He added that Moscow is currently busy "reconstructing" the Ukrainian territories it has occupied, which he claimed is "neither simple nor cheap".
Medvedev also argued that Europe itself would be incapable of waging war against Russia.
"European countries are vulnerable and divided… They simply cannot handle a war with Russia. European leaders are worthless degenerates, incapable of shouldering the burden of responsibility for any serious matter… Most Europeans are inert and spoiled," Medvedev said, once again resorting to insults.
Meanwhile, he acknowledged that a war between Russia and Europe remains possible.
"The probability of a fatal accident always exists. And the factor of hyperactive idiots has not gone away. Such a conflict carries a very real risk of escalating into a war with the use of weapons of mass destruction. That is why we must remain vigilant," he concluded.
