Details: Medvedev also claimed that Russia is not interested in global conflict because "Russians are not insane."

When asked whether Russia's leadership had discussed the possibility of using nuclear weapons in Ukraine, he replied that "Russia acts strictly in accordance with its nuclear doctrine", where everything is laid out, and there is no need to separately discuss the use of these weapons.

Medvedev also noted that since Moscow has not used nuclear weapons so far, it means there have been no dangerous threats to the country.

Background: The Russian leadership in general and Medvedev in particular have repeatedly threatened the world with a nuclear strike.
