Russians seriously damage Ukrainian energy company's thermal power plants

Thermal power plants belonging to DTEK, the largest private energy company in Ukraine, have been seriously damaged in an overnight Russian attack.

Details: DTEK added that its thermal power plants have been targeted more than 200 times since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Background:

• On the night of 9-10 October, Russian forces launched a large-scale strike on Ukraine's energy system.
