US Army Secretary Driscoll, who brought "peace plan", holds third day of talks in Kyiv
US Secretary of the Army Daniel Driscoll held a meeting on Friday 21 November with Rustem Umierov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, and the military.

Details: The Ukrainian delegation included Yevhenii Ostrianskyi, First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council; Anatolii Barhylevych, Chief of Staff of the National Security and Defence Council; Andrii Hnatov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; Kyrylo Budanov, Head of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine; Vadym Skibitskyi, Deputy Head of Defence Intelligence; and Oleh Ivashchenko, Head of Foreign Intelligence Service.
"We continued the consultations that began yesterday at the level of the president of Ukraine. We discussed approaches to restoring a just peace, the sequence of next steps and realistic formats for further dialogue," Umierov wrote.
He added that Ukraine is carefully reviewing every proposal from its partners and clearly articulating its own position.
"There are no decisions outside the framework of sovereignty, the safety of our people and our red lines – and there cannot be," Umierov stressed.
