Seven-year-old Polish girl among those killed in Russian strike on Ternopil

Maciej Wewiór, spokesperson for the Polish Foreign Ministry, has said that a Polish citizen, seven-year-old Amelia, was killed in the Russian strike on the Ukrainian city of Ternopil on the night of 18-19 November.

Details: Wewiór noted that Russia had attacked civilians in Ternopil on the night of 18-19 November, and that "among the victims of this atrocity is a seven-year-old Polish citizen – Amelka".

Background:

During a meeting with US Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll on 20 November, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy briefed him on the foreign components, from countries with anti-Russian sanctions, in the missile used to carry out the deadly strike on Ternopil.
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said after the attack that this was further proof that any realistic peace plan must begin with pressure on Moscow.
