Details: According to Lavrov, Russia received the "peace plan" developed by US President Donald Trump's team only through unofficial channels and has not seen any other versions besides the 28-point draft.

The minister stressed that Moscow is expecting from the American side the version of the plan they consider "interim", at the stage of "textual coordination with the Europeans and the Ukrainians".

Quote: "Then we will take a look, because if the spirit and letter of Anchorage [where Putin and Trump met in August 2025 – ed.] are struck out – in terms of the key understandings we recorded – then, of course, that will be a fundamentally different situation. But for now, I repeat, no one has officially handed anything over to us."

Background: Russian representatives were displeased with the peace plan on Ukraine that had been revised following negotiations between Ukraine and the United States in Geneva, and they rejected it.
