Ukraine's air defence downs 92 drones out of 142 launched by Russia overnight

Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with 142 drones of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types since the evening of 26 November. Ukrainian air defence forces have destroyed 92 of them, but some hits have been recorded.

Quote: "As of 08:30, air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 92 enemy drones of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types in the country's north, south and east. Hits by 42 UAVs had been recorded at 18 locations and the fall of downed drones (debris) at 3 locations."

Details: The drones were launched from the Russian cities of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Bryansk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk as well as from Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea. About 90 of the UAVs were Shahed loitering munitions.

The aerial attack is being repelled by anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces.

The attack is ongoing. As of 08:30, several Russian drones are still present in Ukraine's airspace.
