Ukraine and Norway to jointly produce Ukrainian drones

Ukraine and Norway have signed an agreement on the joint production of Ukrainian drones.

Details: Shmyhal noted that he signed the arrangement with his Norwegian counterpart Tore O. Sandvik.

Quote: "The next step is to quickly launch a pilot production line in 2026 while simultaneously working to further expand capacity."

Details: Ukraine will share its experience and innovations with Norway.

In return, Ukraine will receive a strong production base, as well as research and design cooperation with leading Norwegian institutions.

Background:

• Earlier this week, Ukraine and the United Kingdom signed a licensing agreement to launch production of the Ukrainian-designed Octopus interceptor drone.
• NATO has developed and is testing new weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine against guided aerial bombs and Shahed-type drones.
