NATO intelligence shows no sign Putin is ready for peace deal

Intelligence available to the North Atlantic Alliance has not indicated that Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin is ready for a peace agreement.

Details: NATO officials said that the Alliance does not take part in the talks and fully supports the peace efforts being made by the current US administration.

The main obstacle, however, remains the position of the head of the Russian Federation.

The senior NATO official said that he did not see any sign that Putin took the peace process seriously or had any real interest in making concessions that would lead to peace in Ukraine.

He added that he very much hoped to be wrong.
