Details: The source told Ukrainska Pravda that the drones attacked an oil rig at the Korchagin oil and gas condensate field on 15 December. The strikes have damaged critically important equipment at the facility, bringing production processes to a halt.
On 11 and 12 December, SSU drones had already struck the Filanovsky and Korchagin oil extraction platforms. The Filanovsky field is one of the largest explored fields in Russia and in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea. Its reserves are estimated at 129 million tonnes of oil and 30 billion cubic metres of gas.
