Zelenskyy awaits reports on talks in US from head of Ukraine's negotiating team
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he is expecting a report from Rustem Umierov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine and head of the Ukrainian delegation in the US, on negotiations with the American side.

Quote: "Ukraine's negotiating team is currently working in Florida – there will be more meetings today with the American delegation, with envoys of US President Donald Trump. Work on the documents on ending the war, on security guarantees, and on reconstruction is ongoing – they are going through each point in detail, and there is constructive engagement with the American side. This is important."
Details: Zelenskyy added that the Ukrainian and US sides are also discussing the timeline for implementing the decisions being prepared. " They are also discussing timing – possible timeframes for specific decisions. I am expecting a report from Rustem Umerov and Andrii Hnatov [Chief of Ukraine's General Staff – ed.] on the details of the discussion," Zelenskyy concluded.
Previously: On 21 December, NSDC Secretary Rustem Umierov announced that a meeting between the Ukrainian and US delegations will take place in the United States on Sunday.
