Around 130 combat clashes recorded on battlefield over past day, with most fighting on four fronts – Ukraine's General Staff
A total of 131 combat clashes were recorded on the frontline over the course of 31 December. In particular, the Russians conducted 33 attacks on the Pokrovsk front, 16 on the Kostiantynivka front, and 15 each on the Oleksandrivka and Huliaipole fronts.

Details: The Russians conducted 77 airstrikes, dropping 182 guided aerial bombs. They also launched 3,587 attacks, including 84 using multiple-launch rocket systems, and deployed 6,406 kamikaze drones.
The Russians conducted airstrikes, in particular in the vicinity of the settlements of Verkhnia Tersa, Liubytske and Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Andriivka-Klevtsove in Donetsk Oblast; Mykhailivka in Kherson Oblast; and Zatoka in Odesa Oblast.
Over the past day, aircraft, missile troops and artillery from Ukraine's defence forces struck two areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated and one UAV command post.
On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and Russia's Kursk Oblast, the Russians conducted 1 airstrike using 3 guided aerial bombs and conducted 84 attacks, including 2 with multiple-launch rocket systems.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, the Russians made six attempts to break through the Ukrainian defensive lines near three settlements.
On the Kupiansk front, seven Russian attacks took place. Ukrainian defenders repelled the Russian assault actions near five settlements.
On the Lyman front, the Russians conducted 11 attacks, attempting to penetrate Ukrainian defences near five settlements.
On the Sloviansk front, over the course of the day, Ukrainian defenders stopped a Russian attempt to advance in the vicinity of Serebrianka.
On the Kostiantynivka front, the Russians conducted 16 attacks in the vicinity of eight settlements.
On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders stopped 33 Russian assault actions in the vicinity of 14 settlements.
On the Oleksandrivka front, the Russians conducted 15 attacks near five settlements.
On the Huliaipole front, 15 Russian attacks took place in the vicinity of three settlements.
