Quote from DTEK: "The aftermath of the attack is colossal. Firefighters managed to put out the fire at the substations on New Year's Eve, and the power engineers started work after receiving permission from the military."

The work went on even on New Year's night. The electricity supply has been partially restored, but not for all consumers.

Quote: "There are no stabilisation outage schedules in place in Odesa Oblast. However, grid restrictions are possible in the oblast's Odesa district, particularly in [the city of] Odesa.

These are forced emergency power cuts in the event of a sharp increase in electricity consumption in order to prevent the equipment damaged by the Russian attacks from being overloaded."

Background: Russian forces carried out another drone attack on Odesa Oblast on the night of 31 December-1 January, striking energy infrastructure facilities just before the New Year began.
