Details: Two facilities in Odesa Oblast that supply homes of some of the residents of Odesa's Prymorskyi and Khadzhybeiskyi districts.

"The aftermath of the attack is colossal. On the eve of the New Year, firefighters managed to put out the fire at the substations, and energy workers started work after receiving permission from the military," the statement reads.

The work continued even on New Year's night. In three days, it was possible to partially restore electricity supply, but not for all consumers.

"Stabilisation outage schedules are not applied in Odesa Oblast. However, grid restrictions are possible in the Odesa district of the oblast, in particular in Odesa.

These are forced emergency power outages in the event of a sharp increase in electricity consumption in order to prevent overloading of equipment damaged after Russian attacks," DTEK added.

Background: Russian forces carried out another drone attack on Odesa Oblast on the night of 31 December-1 January, striking energy infrastructure facilities immediately before the New Year began.
