Ukrainian defenders repel 65 Russian attacks on Huliaipole front – General Staff
A total of 229 combat clashes with Russian troops have occurred over the course of 4 January, with the Huliaipole and Pokrovsk fronts remaining the hottest ones.

Quote: "Yesterday [4 January – ed.], the enemy carried out 62 airstrikes, dropping 185 guided aerial bombs and using one missile. In addition, they conducted 4,016 attacks, including 84 from multiple-launch rocket systems, and used 5,232 kamikaze drones for strikes."
Details: On the South Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, Russian forces conducted 99 attacks, including an attack from a multiple-launch rocket system.
On the North Slobozhanshchyna front, Ukrainian troops repelled eight Russian attacks near six settlements.
On the Kupiansk front, the Russians carried out three attacks near three settlements.
On the Lyman front, Russian forces attacked 10 times near three settlements.
On the Sloviansk front, Ukrainian troops stopped six offensive actions by Russian forces in the areas of three settlements.
On the Kramatorsk front, there was one combat clash near the village of Stupochky.
On the Kostiantynivka front, Russian forces carried out 18 attacks near five settlements.
On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 54 Russian offensive actions near nine settlements.
On the Oleksandrivka front, Russian forces carried out 24 attacks in the vicinity of eight settlements.
On the Huliaipole front, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 65 Russian attacks near five settlements.
On the Orikhiv front, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian unit positions near four settlements eight times.
"Ukraine's aircraft and units from the Rocket Forces and Artillery hit nine clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment, three artillery pieces, an electronic warfare asset and two UAV command posts belonging to the enemy over the past day," the General Staff said.
