Russian drone equipped with anti-tank mine neutralised in Sumy Oblast – photo

Law enforcement officers in Sumy Oblast have neutralised a Russian drone equipped with an anti-tank mine.

Details: The drone was discovered by a resident of a border village on the grounds of his private property. He immediately reported it to the police.
"Specialist personnel found during the inspection that the drone had been fitted with an anti-tank mine containing over six kilograms of explosive. If detonated, such a device could have caused serious damage to a residential building and led to multiple casualties," the statement said.
Police bomb disposal experts seized the explosive device and safely destroyed it.

Law enforcement officers have reminded the public that if any suspicious objects are found, it is strictly forbidden to touch them, move them or try to inspect them independently. People should move to a safe distance and immediately report the find by calling the emergency number 102.
