Volunteers killed as Russian drone hit car delivering bread to village in Kharkiv Oblast

Two local residents delivering bread to people in the village of Kozacha Lopan in Kharkiv Oblast have been killed by a Russian drone at the entrance to the village.

Details: Between 11:30 and 12:00 on 22 January, Russian forces carried out FPV drone attacks on Kozacha Lopan and Ruska Lozova, killing two people and injuring another local resident.

At the entrance to Kozacha Lopan, the Russians hit a civilian car carrying two local volunteers who were bringing bread to residents still living in the village. The vehicle was destroyed and the two men, aged 35 and 63, were killed at the scene from their injuries.

Around the same time, Russian forces attacked a civilian vehicle travelling through the village of Ruska Lozova. Two men were in the car and managed to get out in time. One of them, a 70-year-old local resident, later sought medical help. His life is not currently in danger.
