Trump: Zelenskyy expresses willingness to reach peace deal

US President Donald Trump has said that his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed his readiness to conclude a peace agreement.

Details: Trump said there remains one obstacle to signing a deal, which he described as the same one that has existed throughout the past year.
Background:
- Trump described his meeting with Zelenskyy in Davos on Thursday as "very good".
- Trump also noted that during the meeting, he and Zelenskyy did not discuss whether Ukraine will join the "Board of Peace" he is establishing. So far, none of the US's usual Western European allies has joined.
- Ukraine has received an invitation to join the organisation but is still considering it.
- The meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump ended and lasted around 50 minutes. Zelenskyy's team described the talks as "good".
