Fuel depot on fire in Russia's Penza after drone attack – videos

A fire has broken out at a fuel depot in the Russian city of Penza following a drone attack on the night of 22-23 January.

Quote from Melnichenko: "I am at the scene. According to updated information, four drones were intercepted by air defence systems. Debris from one of them fell on the territory of the fuel depot, causing a fire. Emergency services are continuing to work at the scene."
Details: Early reports from the Russian authorities indicated that there were no casualties.
The fire was extinguished by 46 firefighters using 14 fire appliances.
Updated: The Russian Defence Ministry later claimed that air defence systems had intercepted and destroyed 12 Ukrainian drones overnight. Seven were downed over Belgorod Oblast, two over Voronezh Oblast, Bryansk Oblast, one over Penza Oblast and one over Astrakhan Oblast.
The Russian defence ministry traditionally does not disclose the total number of drones involved in attacks on military and energy facilities across Russia, nor how many of them reached their targets.
