Russians attack Ukraine with Iskander missile and 111 drones, 80 downed

Russian forces have attacked Ukraine using an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 111 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones since the evening of 29 January. Ukrainian air defences have managed to down 80 UAVs, but some aerial assets have reached their targets.

Quote: "As of 08:00, [Ukrainian] air defence forces have destroyed or jammed 80 enemy drones. Hits by 1 ballistic missile and 25 UAVs had been recorded at 15 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at 2 locations."
Details: The Iskander-M missile was launched from Russia's Voronezh Oblast, while the drones came from the Russian cities of Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk as well as from temporarily occupied Donetsk. About 70 of the UAVs were Shahed loitering munitions.
"Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack," the Air Forces reported.
As of 08:00, the attack is ongoing, as several Russian drones are still in Ukrainian airspace.
